Font Animation

This week in the workshop it was our task to create a short animation responding to a font we liked. I chose the font Century Gothic and did some research on the font. I have included some of my prep materials such as my storyboard (above) and some screen shots of my process.

However, when I arrived in the class it became apparent that this font was not supported in After Effects even though I was able to use it in illustrator and other Adobe software. This meant that I had to change my idea quickly. The font I decided to go with was Gill Sans, something I had looked at as part of my studio project. I tried to stick as closely as I could to my original story board where appropriate.
